The country hotel «Dzhemete» is situated on a large stretch of sandy beach with velvety sand, picturesque dunes and clear water, on the coast of the Black Sea. The client approached with the task of reconstructing the entire territory of the complex with buildings of Soviet heritage. The first stage of construction was to develop a typical building with an inexpensive construction, but interesting from the point of view of volume planning solution. The main idea for the concept was taken from the priridian ornamentation formed on the coastal sand bars. The volumes of the blocks are staggered in relation to each other, which gives plasticity and dynamism to the volume, as well as privacy for each room. A two-storey arch in each block gives a clear structure to the building. A diagonal corridor allows the rooms to be placed on two sides, providing maximum views of the surroundings.
